Ingredients:

  • dried fruits — 1 Cup
  • Apple juice — 1 1/2 Cup
  • flour — 1 Cup
  • the baking soda — 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder — 1/2 teaspoons
  • salt — 1/4 tsp
  • brown sugar — 1/2 Cup
  • butter — 4 Tbsp. spoon
  • banana — 2 Pieces
  • yogurt — 3 PTS. spoon
  • vanilla extract — 1 teaspoon
  • egg white — 2 Pieces
  • walnuts — 1/2 Cup

How to make “Banana cake”


Preheat oven to 350 F. Sprinkle the dried fruit in a small bowl, add Apple juice and cover with lid. Place the cookware with dried fruit in the oven for 1/2 minute. Then, remove the bowl and set aside for 15 minutes. Dried fruit should absorb most of the moisture.


In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder and soda. Put aside.


Mix bananas, yogurt, vanilla extract and 2 egg whites in a blender for 10 seconds.


In a separate bowl, beat butter and light brown sugar. Then add the banana mixture and beat again.


Mix the flour mixture with the liquid.


Drain the liquid from the dried fruit, add 1/2 part dried fruit and as many chopped walnuts into the batter.


Lay the baking paper on the bottom of the pan to avoid sticking. Pour the batter into the pan, sprinkle the remaining nuts, dried fruit and bake for 45 minutes. Then allow the cake to cool for about 15 minutes.
